DIY Parisian Burlap Housewarming Gift

This weekend I had a housewarming party to go to for my friend Ashley. She & her husband moved into their first house just 2 months ago. I wanted to make her something special for her new place. Perusing through Pinterest I was inspired to  try printing on burlap for a cool gift. She loves Paris, and I figured she would probably decorate at least one room in that decor so I took a stab at it. The burlap was very difficult to run through the printer and I nearly pulled my hair out, but I'm happy with the results. What do you think?

I'm glad I added the flower rosettes. I wasn't sure, but I think they are a nice touch!

I love it! I think the rosettes were the perfect touch! Now I want to do this with a vintage palm print and pretty green rosettes and feathers!

I love how it turned out! I'm thinking I might have to try fabric paint and freezer paper stencils with some burlap. The flowers were a very cool touch too, just the right amount of girlie.
