Back to Work. Monday's recap.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11

This weekend was good and things are feeling a little better. We celebrated my brother-in-law's birthday with a night out with friends at a pizza place. We also got him a DQ ice cream cake! We also made some good progress on my sister & brother in laws house! We can now use the kitchen, our bathroom has had one coat of paint and should be useable in the next few days. We have unpacked more and just feel a bit more settled. Corey & and are still trying to settle into the differences of our new jobs. They both come with major differences and adjustments but we are thankful to both have work so we don't have to stress about money on top of everything else!

I've been to Liz's church with her the past two weeks and I feel like I'm hearing things in a whole new way lately. I have been trying to really listen and apply things to my life. I feel a little more at peace with everything as each day passes.

I miss all my MO friends and life a bunch still, but things don't feel so desperately terrible anymore.
Lol. I guess I'm a drama queen sometimes? Nah... :D

Back to work today...another week to learn something new and stretch myself.
Wish me luck!
