House Tour: Kitchen

I'm back from my hiatus of blogging. If you hadn't heard, we have officially relocated from Houston back to our roots in St. Louis, Missouri!

We are thrilled to be back in STL, but are also sad to say goodbye to our beautiful home in Houston. As we part with it I want to share it with you!

Thanks to my great friend Bree at The Thing About Joy for taking these wonderful pictures!

I couldn't decide what room to start with, but settled on sharing the kitchen first.

The things we loved about the kitchen were the light cabinets, travertine tile backsplash, the unique vent hood, and oil-rubbed bronze finishes.

Being from St. Louis, I was thrilled to find this unique flour sack towel when we visited La Bahia at the Round Top Antique Week. The booth I found it at was from Mandy at The Dusty Diamond. Her booth had adorable stuff with some GREAT prices!

Yummy banana caramel cupcakes that Bree brought over for us to nibble on!! Sooo good! Here's the recipe!

The canisters we found at Home Goods, I love shopping at that store because even though it's a chain it always has unique items that you wouldn't find anywhere else.
These canisters had a vintage flair but had a new seal, just what we wanted!

This kitchen scale was actually found during one of our visits to Missouri last year. We love visiting the Wentzville Flea Market and when I found this scale I knew it was a perfect addition to our kitchen!

That about sums up our kitchen tour. Come back soon to see the rest of the house!
